Karan leads developer relations for GitHub in India, working closely with the developer community to help them get the most out of the GitHub platform. He also works with the open source ecosystem and various other stakeholders across the country to help develop the open source culture in India. He's a developer at heart and codes mainly in Python and Ruby.

When he's not working, Karan can be found reading books about various genres, studying filmmaking, and honing his professional acting skills.
