Bryant Son

bryantsonBryant Jimin Son is a Solution Architect at GitHub, where he works with multiple clients to deliver and support GitHub products for customers. He also works to enable and support internal employees through Community of Practice within GitHub. Previously, Bryant was a Senior Consultant at Red Hat, working on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and DevOps. He also worked at Citi Group, American Airlines, IBM, Home Depot Austin technology center, and a few startups. He graduated from UT Austin with a dual degree in computer science and aerospace engineering.
Bryant is the President and Founder of a non-profit association called Korean American IT Association group, known as KAITA (www.kaita.org). As the President of KAITA, he has flown multiple times to Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, and Seoul (South Korea) to host the physical meetings, and he has hosted three large size conferences: two in Dallas and one in Seoul.
While Bryant was born in South Korea, he has been living in Dallas, Texas for more than 23 years. When he is not busy with work, he can be found at a fitness center working out or studying at a coffee shop.
